well, the solution is easy, stop buying food & go dumpster diving instead! If you're in the countryside, grow your food... the left over can recycle itself in the soil... This world is based on consumption. The only solution is to stop capitalism. Thanks for sharing this video. The amount of things thrown away is amazing!

Alas, it's the same in all industrialized countries. Makes me want to go on an all algae diet. This report mirrors one from England only a few weeks ago. Here's a short video clip from the BBC.
