Nan Sea Love
Inspired by the Tanka, an ancient Tibetan meditation art and part of a series “The Doggi Lama” suggests what thousands have suspected for ages—anyone as unconditionally loving, loyal and ego-less as a dog has to be a living incarnations of the Buddha. (Thanks goes to our friend, Monty, for posing and sharing his very special Buddha nature).
Subtly woven into the art you will see the words Nan Sea wrote: "If one where able to take all the love in the universe and distill it into the soul of a single creature, who that has know the love of a dog could deny it would be found there. The whole universe in the Heart of a dog." And a wonderful prayer said every morning by the Dalai Lama: "As long as there are beings to be found. May I continue like wise to remain to soothe the suffering of those who live." plus almost hidden are the words "All Life is Sacred" repeated in the halos. To do this series Nan Sea briefly studied Tibetan Tanka painting with a skilled master. Print 13"x19" archival inks and paper.
