Nan Sea Love

The words in this painting are inspired by the being that was my most beloved ever, a cat named Precious: "I know no greater proof for the existence of a benevolent God, no greater Heaven than holding a purring cat. Those who hunger for love need look no further. God has put the opportunity to care and love all around us."

This Buddha was created in homage to Precious, who I was blessed with for almost sixteen years. He appeared the day after Chirstmas, my gift from God, the sickest animal I have ever seen: less than a pound, starving, clearly dying. I didn't want a another cat but thought love might help him live. He spent the night on my heart and we bonded for forever.
