Vegan RadioVegan Radio is a show about vegan culture; animal rights issues, the vegan diet, the vegan lifestyle, and the greater relationships to environmentalism, spirituality, politics, and salsa dancing. Show hosts are Megan Shackelford from Oh Sweet Mama's Vegan Bakery and Derek Goodwin, creator of Veganica, and Scott Lahteine, our resident renaissance geek. Every two weeks Megan, Derek, and Scott bring an entertaining and sometimes humorous perspective to the subjects of diet, animal rights, arts, media, and personal ethics in a global world. Vegan Radio tries to be a show that omnivores will enjoy as much as vegetarians and vegans, to help raise these connected issues in a way that doesn't put people off. We usually feature a musical guest. Vegan Radio is a broadcast and a podcast. We broadcast live from ValleyFree Radio WXOJ-LP 103.3 FM in Northampton, Massachusetts (USA). Shows are currently live alternate Thursdays at noon. Vegan Radio programs are available for download as mp3 files.
